These are our goals. First to provide a proper service at a reasonable cost. Yes you can find cheap movers without coverage on your effects, without workers compensation, without proper equipment but to provide that kind of service we cant be cheap but yet we are not part of a van line so our rates are usually 15-35% less than van line pricing for local Moving.
Our local Moving Rates are as low as $79 per hour monday to thursday mid month for a man and a truck ( add $20 per hour for each additional person), Weekend rates ( friday saturday and sunday usually $6 per hour higher but many mid month rates are kept low so we are busy all month long! Month end rates start at $89 per hour month end ( last week of month plus 1st day of month – again $20 more per additional mover end of may june july august may be $10-40 higher if we have to put on extra trucks and equipment to meet demand… contact a moving consultant in our office).
Travel time is charged to and from your residence to our depot. We usually have a depot close to you. In major ciiies you will find it standard for movers to charge one hour travel. Movers do this as our most expensive hour is the time to get to your home and to get back to the shop as we have to pay out labour under labour regualtions as the time movers are paid is from the time they start to do daily inspections of the truck being used on the job till the time they return back to the shop. ( your moving consultant can verify the travel time with you).
Our system is mostly owner operator system. This means that their is an owner on the truck which is responsible for claims if there are damages as he is charges back. When we implimented this system our claims fell by 60%. We have standards of how many pads dollies etc are on each truck, we also supply 3 wardrobes on each truck at nc / upon request and we provide stretch plastic wrap on all moves nc for your upholsterd furniture and we provide a protection plan nc with each local move ( see coverages page for details.)
Our staff are covered by Workers Compensation should there be an injury in your home. Many Cash movers do not offer Workers Compensaton in their rates.
Better Movers with a lot of extras at nc for your move means much better value.
